Position Overview
As a Physician Assistant in our rheumatology clinic, you will work closely with our physicians and care team to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of rheumatologic conditions. You will provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, support infusion services, and play a key role in delivering personalized, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations, histories, and physical exams

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests

  • Develop treatment and management plans under physician supervision

  • Educate patients on their conditions, medications, and therapies

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure seamless care

  • Respond to the patients’ calls and messages and address their clinical concerns
    through direct calls or the Patient Portal.

  • Performing “Telemedicine” with delivery of the high-standard of care through
    virtual visits.

  • Ensure proper follow up with patients.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program

  • Current Tennessee PA license

  • NCCPA certification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • New graduates welcome—training and mentorship provided
